How enquiries are sent
The enquiry form on this website does not store your details on a server. It composes an email in your own email application, addressed to info@balwynlocksmithservice.com, which you then choose to send. Your information therefore travels through your own email provider, and this website itself retains no copy of it.
How we use your information
Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and carry out locksmith work, to provide quotes, and to keep records of work performed. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Proof of entitlement
Before opening a property or vehicle, we ask for reasonable evidence that you are entitled to access it. We view such documents only to satisfy ourselves of your entitlement, and we do not retain copies unless a specific job record requires it.
Disclosure to others
We may need to discuss a job with a property owner, managing agent, owners corporation or building manager where they are the party authorising the work. We may also disclose information where required by law. Beyond that, we do not share your details with third parties.

Our contact and location sections embed a Google Map. When that map loads, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details in accordance with Google’s own privacy practices. Web fonts used on this site are loaded from Google Fonts and are subject to the same consideration.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Job records are retained only as long as needed for business, warranty and legal purposes, and are then destroyed or de-identified.
