The frame usually matters more than the lock
A high-quality deadbolt screwed into a thin strike plate with 15 mm screws is only as strong as those screws. Forced entries typically break the frame or the strike, not the lock body. Fitting a reinforced strike plate with long screws that reach the structural stud is one of the least expensive and most effective changes available on a timber door, and it is almost always the first thing worth doing.
